WHY THE CHURCH SHOULD BE AT THE FOREFRONT DEFENDING THE RIGHTS OF THE POOR? Yet the Church and many Christians remain silent amid demolition, harassment of squatters, and human rights violations! Rather than siding with the poor against the powerful, the Church remains silent! The Church should be sending their students now to the slums to teach this virtue!
