WHY WE MUST VOTE FOR BUHARI Buhari. A reoccuring decimal in the Nigerian political scene has come forward again to contest another Presidential poll, the fourth time in succession. He is a Septuagenarian. He is a Muslim. He is a modest man. An honest man. A man who stands against indiscipline and corruption two of the biggest problems that plague the Nigerian state. To highlight his honesty he publicly declared his assets, a sharp contrast from the man who said he does not give a damn about declaring his assets on National tv. He is a highly decorated General with experience in crushing insurgency, unlike the man who proclaimed he is neither a General or a lion thus doesnt have the heart to crush the boko haram insurgency that has terrorised and annexed parts of Nigeria the size of Wales and England. General Buhari is in APC. Surely the APC is filled with PDP defectors who were rail roaded out of the party by the shenanigans of either GEJ or Patience Jonathan. Thus even though they may be PDP members in APC skin, they have all united against a common foe to set aright the capsizing Nigerian ship. Buhari says he will abolish the office of the 1st lady not because he is a male chauvinist but because he has seen the immense damage that the likes of Turai and Patience Faka have done to the Nigerian state. Unlike the serene late Maryam Babangida who brought dignity to the office through her Better life for Rural women, the likes of Turai, Stella and now Patience Faka have turned the office into an unconstitutional wheel of power where they hire and fire at a whim, usurping the powers of the President to the disdain of many. The office of the first lady has lost its value for now. This is indeed signs of a leader who wishes to end the excesses from within before tackling those outside hence one sees the merit in GMBs intentions. Buhari indeed may not be as preferred as Fashola, Adams Oshiomole or Rochas Okorocha but alas he is a man that does care about Nigerians. He will rebuild our military which has become a tactically manoeuvring mutinous band of misfits. He will ensure the petrol subsidy mafia that has milked the nation dry are brought to book and their illegally acquired wealth confiscated. He will ensure the importation of refined products and the cartel running it is brought to an end. The EFCC that has been rendered toothless under GEJ will be reinvigorate to be able to bite once more. When peace and security reign foreign investments will flourish and the nation shall have a new lease of prosperity. Indeed GMB is a man who has promised Nigerians a better future. 219 kidnapped Chibok girls and the lackadaisical attitude towards their plight is a stain on the toga of GEJ that GMB is prepared to cleanse the nation of. The 3 million Internally Displaced Persons and the 400,000 refugees in Cameroon are aching to return home. For now GMB is the only one who can ensure this. Indeed many say Buhari is the sponsor of Boko Haram. All lies. No case has ever been filed against the General as a Boko Haram supporter yet in far away South Africa Henry Okah mentioned the brains behind the Independence day bombing. Senator Ndume pointed fingers at the Oga at the top as being in the know of his cavorting with Boko Haram and in a flash the case against him died a natural death. Why? Meanwhile the Maniacs called Boko Haram tried and failed to kill the peoples General for they fear their days of free enterprise will come to an end when he becomes president. But alas that is when the truth became divine. God had spared the good General for a higher purpose beyond what he had accomplished in the past. He saved Nigeria from Maitasine in the past its now upon him to save Nigeria from Boko Haram once again. Indeed all the ammunition Papa-Deceiving-Pikin people behind GEJ, have is to attack the Generals character and paint him as a religious bigot. Well that will not wash now we have all had the breath of fresh air promised by the shoeless one that is in fact putrid and foul. That a man is passionate about his religion is indeed a plus and not those who play lipservice to theirs whom must travel in a prodigal manner to the holy land with a retinue of yes men who squander the nations scarce resources in a superfluous degenerate manner, not even once but twice in the space of a year speaks volumes of the hypocritical nature of this sojourner. And after the 500 man entourage to wail at the Wailing Wall it is not a coincidence that the economy took an epileptic plunge as the surreal waste incurred has left shock waves reverberating that the centre can not hold. Nigeria needs a firm decisive leader in this dark hour. Not a leader that says If you say we should negotiate with Boko Haram you are right. If you say we should not negotiate with them and finish them you are also right. As for me I will follow international global best practice February 14th 2015 beckons. Vote for GMB that Nigeria may survive. That is the simple truth
