Remember 4 days after Paulie was killed, Chief Wray showed up on the news, putting one hand on one arm, justifying the killing of an unarmed man more than 1 month before the criminal investigation was complete, before any forensics and toxicology came in? Remember when our Sheriff Mahoney was on the news talking about his deputy who murdered his wife and sister-in-law and our Sheriff said, he saw no signs? You know how we accept laws that protect us from harming each other but law enforcement takes it personally and goes on a sympathy campaign whenever anyone suggests more oversight of their work? THOSE ARE 3 of MANY REASONS WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP, TONIGHT. Your presence and support for Justice and Equity in Dane are needed. Numbers matter and your attendance for this one evening will go a long way. The meeting is a County Board budget hearing and it is this Monday at 7 PM at the City County Building (room 201, 2nd floor). Please attend to show support for more transparency, fairness and equity from law enforcement.
