WHY is this happening, why is it happening NOW? Could it be part of some greater plan? If so, why does it seem so scary? You know, you get up, go to work; chase the kids to do their homework; shop for groceries, wash the floors, balance the household budget, argue with your spouse, send birthday cards, plan Shanbbat dinner.............. Just carrying on as normal. Meanwhile the bloodiest atrocities are going on day after day, hour after hour, minute after minute - somewhere else, but not so far away. Is it posible they could overun my country? Come and capture me and my children and tell us to convert or die - and kill us anyway? Should I even be bothering to put in a new kitchen? to worry about the overdraft? to go on a diet? to have my highlights done? Should we just invite all of our friennds over & drink the cocktail cabinet dry? Should we max out all of the credit cards and take off on a Caribbean cruise? Or do we have a faith thats strong enough? And even if our faith is strong, even if we really truly believe, what if its not enough?
