¤ WILL JUDGMENT REALLY START FROM THE CHURCH? ¤ Usually I dont do this but a Nigerian proverb has it that Enekebe the bird said that since hunters has learnt to shoot without missing, he too has learnt to fly without perching. Good Morning, News came like a joke on monday that a catholic church in Abuja on sunday avoided the sign of peace ( a church ritual where members shake themselves) for the fear of #Ebola. As if that is not enough, yesterday, my Anglican Diocese passed a resolution to restructure the manner in which holy communion is administered in churches for the fear of #Ebola. Hmmm, the only thought running through my mind is what has happened to their faith? Does that mean they fear Ebola more than they fear God? Does that mean that Ebola is stronger than God? Does that mean God cannot cure Ebola or prevent it from functioning in churches? To all these questions, I have been unable to find answers. The priests like the police (who breaches the rights of the people they are meant to protect) have shattered faith which they ought to defend. I do not have any doubt that my great grand father would have believed more in his IKENGA (charms, gods) than these people believed God.
