** WILL JUSTICE FOR ALL BE DONE IN CORRUPTION CASE ** Corruption abounds here in Durant, Oklahoma. It is not just the Choctaw Nation but permeates Durant city government, Big 5 Community Action Agency and numerous other governmental entities. Durant is the capital of the Choctaw Nation. Our Choctaw Chief is Gary Batton who now is an Unindicted Co-Conspirator of a bribery and money laundering scandal. So far this scandal has TEN GUILTY PARTICIPANTS with more to come. Like building a house, a THOROUGH INVESTIGATION must start at the bottom and build upwards to those with the power and authority who spearheaded the conspiracy and in some cases ORDERED those underneath them to participate. Being ordered to violate the law is NO EXCUSE and underlings who did so must be punished. However, when someone holds the power to fire you from your job while ordering you to commit wrongdoings, it is akin to organized crime. There is NO DOUBT former Chief Greg Pyle participated in this corruption conspiracy. There is NO DOUBT current Choctaw Chief Gary Batton participated in this corruption conspiracy. There is NO DOUBT Choctaw Casino Executive Janie Dillard participated in this corruption conspiracy. Finally, there is NO DOUBT Durant Mayor Jerry Tomlinson participated in this corruption conspiracy. Yet, Chief Pyle, Chief Batton, Mrs. Dillard and Mayor Tomlinson have not been indicted or plead guilty...................YET. The burning question is will they be included in Justice for All or will justice stop with those underlings??? Here are some THINGS TO THINK ON as this corruption conspiracy widens according to an IRS Agent.................... Former United States Eastern District Court Judge Mike Burrage is now representing the Choctaw Nation according to numerous court documents. Former federal Judge Burrage was also part of the legal team for former State Senator Gene Stipe who was convicted for a campaign funding scheme. However, Stipe was not ever sentenced to federal prison and rumors abounded that it was Judge Burrages connections which kept Stipe out of prison. A current sitting United States Eastern District Court Judge is Ronald White. Federal Judge White is the former son-in-law of Durant City Attorney Pat Phelps. Whites wife and Phelps daughter passed away from a battle with cancer at a tragically middle life age. Many rumors persist that it is this connection to federal Judge White which has kept a federal investigation of Durant city government at bay. United States Federal Judges are appointed by the President of the United States and confirmed by the United States Senate. BUT they are first NOMINATED BY THE SENIOR US SENATOR OF EACH STATE. This was true for Judge Ronald White who was nominated by then senior US Senator Don Nickles and appointed by President Bush. Federal Judge White has been punished for some good ol boy activities himself. In 2011, federal Judge White was formally reprimanded by the Judicial Council of the United States Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals for ..........using his office to appoint friends to serve as adjunct settlement judges, even though they were not qualified, and by ordering certain parties to pay them fees for their services despite a local court rule to the contrary. The Judicial Council settled on a reprimand after White apologized for his behavior and promised to conduct himself more appropriately in the future. Federal Judge White was the presiding judge in the cases involving former State Senator Gene Stipe, former State Representative Mike Mass and former McAlester City Manager Randy Green. The current United States Attorney for the Eastern District is Mark Green. Before being appointed US Attorney Mark Green was one of the federal trial lawyers for former City Manager Randy Green (no relation). Durant City Manager Jim Dunegan who was a former State Representative shared a residence with former State Representative Mike Mass. The last thing to think about is Chief Battons comment about US Senator Jim Inhoffe helping with whatever Chief Batton wanted. It is incumbent on all of us, Choctaws and non-Choctaws to be vigilant in seeing that JUSTICE IS FOR ALL.
