If your reputation is more important than your character, your character and your reputation will never be what you want them to be. Who you really are, is always more important than what anyone thinks. Working on your reputation is like working on something thats not there; it is working on an illusion. Working on your reputation will ensure you live an artificial life. It is your character that determines who you really are, and it is your character alone that has more influence over your reputation than anything anyone could ever possibly say. Dont worry about what they say, focus on who you are, and who you want to become. Your character is always more important than your reputation. Your reputation is who they think you are, and your character is who you really are. Your reputation is a story, authored by your character; make it real. Changing your reputation without your character is saying, this is who I want them to think I am, and your character is saying, THIS IS WHO I REALLY AM. Your character is the hammer and chisel.
