WILL THERE BE RAPTURE AS SO MANY IN THE WORLD HAVE TOLD YOU, IS THIS TRUE OR FALSE? By Jay OftheWay 1Co 15:50 And this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood is unable to inherit the reign of Elohim, neither does corruption inherit incorruption. 1Co 15:51 See, I speak a secret to you: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, put on immortality. 1Co 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. So why are the dead being raised for the rapture? If they are dead what do they need to be raptured from? This is part of the first resurrection not the rapture. Now lots of people try to use this verse for the rapture, they don’t bother to read the rest of the verses. 1Co 15:53 For this corruptible has to put on incorruption, and this mortal to 1Co 15:54 And when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall come to be the word that has been written, “Death is swallowed up in overcoming.” 1Co 15:55 “O Death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your overcoming?” 1Th 4:13 Now, brothers, we do not wish you to be ignorant concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you be sad as others who have no expectation. 1Th 4:14 For if we believe that יהושע died and rose again, so also Elohim shall bring with Him those who sleep1 in יהושע. Footnote: 1An euphemism for death, a typical Hebrew word for it. 1Th 4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Master, that we, the living who are left over at the coming of the Master shall in no way go before those who are asleep. 1Th 4:16 Because the Master Himself shall come down from heaven with a shout, with the voice of a chief messenger, and with the trumpet of Elohim, and the dead in Messiah shall rise first. The rapture as envisioned by the masses was invented by a guy called Cotton Mather who was a preacher in the 1700s he was also famous for being terrified of witches and so he condemned many poor women and a few men to death at a little place called Salem, sure some of you have heard of that place. It is totally illogical to think we will be raptured out before the time of trouble, that is coming upon the world. 1Th 4:17 Then we, the living who are left over, shall be caught away together with them in the clouds to meet the Master in the air – and so we shall always be with the Master. 1Th 4:18 So, then, encourage one another with these words. As times worsen and we fall headlong toward the end of the age, many rest secure, thinking that when calamity strikes, the Messiah will rapture them off to heaven. Understand why the Messiah is coming again and read what the Bible says about the “rapture.” The modern, religious use of the word “rapture” means the joyous catching away of the saints into the clouds to meet the Messiah יהושע* in the air and to go away with Him. This is said to occur at the end time, at the brink of world war and personal affliction. Shockingly, the word “rapture” is not found in the Bible. It is an English term derived from the Latin rapiemu (“carried off” or “caught up”) which originated from the Greek harpazo (“caught up”) in 1 Thessalonians 4:17. This “catching away” of the saints is tied in with events surrounding the end-time destruction of the wicked. Let’s study the events that are to take place before the supposed “rapture.” One good rule in studying almost any prophetic subject of the Bible is to begin at the first mentioned passage and proceed to study all Scriptures relating to the subject, paying close attention to every word. Keep in mind, however, that we will understand little unless we are converted and perfectly neutral (that is, not holding any preconceived opinions), willing to let the Word of יהוה* say what it will and believe what it says. No matter what you have believed about a certain doctrine, consider yourself ignorant before the Heavenly Father יהוה. Pray earnestly to Him that He will give you His Set-Apart Spirit, that you will think as יהוה thinks. Do exactly as the Word says, for without obedience you can never learn and understand prophecy correctly. Constant religious debates separate men into endless factions, creeds, and dissensions. We must always strive to love our fellow man as we strive to love יהוה. When we disagree, let the light of Scripture decide which way we are to travel—hopefully in concert with one another. Obviously though, there are those who wish to believe a manmade doctrine instead of looking honestly and open-mindedly at what is found in יהוה’s Word. “Proof” Verses for the Rapture Doctrine There are several Scriptures commonly used to “prove” the rapture doctrine which, upon closer examination, cannot or should not be used to do so. Let’s examine each of them for Scriptural authenticity before going into an in-depth study of the rapture. We will start with 1 Corinthians 15:51-54 which is in part a quotation from Hosea 13:14, and says, Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: ‘Death has been swallowed up in victory.’ Now let us pay attention to the Dead will be raised. Why do the dead need to be raptured from what is going on during the tribulation? They are already dead. This makes no sense at all, but the people promoting the rapture don’t care about taking scripture into context or really examining what the scriptures say about this. The rapture is a multi-million dollar a year industry if not billion some years, with all the books and movies about it. The left behind series of books, movies and the video game. You will note in these verses that there is absolutely no mention whatsoever of being “caught up” in the air or otherwise as is commonly taught within the rapture doctrine. It serves as proof verses for the dead being raised and people being “changed,” but there is no mention of a “raising up.” The second set of verses we will look at, like the above, could easily serve as proof verses for being resurrected but not being “caught up” in the air. Philippians 3:20-21, But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Master, יהושע the Messiah, who, by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like His glorious body. The next set of verses is also commonly used to prove being “caught up.” Upon closer examination and harmonizing the Scriptures, it cannot possibly refer to the common concept of a “rapture.” Matthew 24:40-41, Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. Just as the flood took people away to judgment, this also references people being taken in judgment. This entire concept is made much clearer in Luke 17 when יהושע’s disciples asked specifically where will they be taken and יהושע answered, ‘Where, Master?’ they asked. He replied, ‘Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.’ The dead bodies of those taken away will be food for the birds; in other words, wherever those who are taken away will be taken to, we don’t want to go. It is better to be left behind than to be food for the vultures as יהושע said. Those who perished in the flood became food for all the scavengers which Noah released from the ark. Just so, the wicked will be slain and left as food for birds when יהושע the Messiah returns. You can compare the ones left behind to Noah and his family members who survived the flood. ... יהוה knows how to rescue righteous men from trials… (2 Peter 2:9). The final set of verses we will examine prior to digging into the Scriptures is the text most commonly used to “prove” the rapture and that is 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 which reads, For the Master Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of Elohim, and the dead in Messiah will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Master in the air. And so we will be with the Master forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words. You may know or recall that the apostles taught using the Old Testament; there was no “New” Testament during that era. Therefore, any concept whatsoever that is found in the New Testament must have the support of ample testimony from the Old. Paul would never have introduced a concept that is never even mentioned by Moses or any of the prophets of old! Proponents of the rapture doctrine actually acknowledge this fact and will tell you the rapture has only come into being in the last century or so. Now, if we profess to live by the Holy Bible, how can we just on the surface, believe in a concept that only came to be in the last century? And never verified Scripturally? יהוה has very explicitly stated, I change not (Malachi 3:16). We must remember that the study of biblical prophecy and its fulfillment (eschatology) involves a great deal of uncertainty and speculation. However, you cannot make a stand on any “conclusion” unless and until you have Scriptural authority, not only as a bases, but also to verify your points. Religious Establishment Still Indifferent To the religious establishment, יהושע was an imposter, invading their synagogues and teaching strange doctrines. יהושע came unto His own, and His own received Him not (John 1:11). יהושע told us to teach His doctrines to the wicked kingdoms of this world. Go into all the world, and preach” the Good News of salvation to every person. The apostles were obedient to the Messiahs command to spread the Good News of salvation to the extent of being aggressive. They were warned to stop preaching about יהושע to the people. But, they disobeyed the hierarchy in the Jewish temple, their rulers, elders and scribes at Jerusalem. Instead, they continued preaching even more boldly. Yet יהושע exhorts us to watch and pray always, that we may be counted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man. He tells some to make their own escape by fleeing to the mountains during the tribulation. What tribulation? None other than the one revealed in Daniel 7:21-22 and 25-26, I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them until the Ancient of Days came and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High … And he shall speak great words against the Most High and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. Note verse 26, But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion to consume and to destroy it unto the end. The Bible shows plainly, in Scripture after Scripture, that tribulation and persecution against the true saints of יהוה will continue through the ages, and will be especially oppressive in the great time of trouble spoken of by the prophet Daniel. יהושע the Messiah warned of the same. All of Daniels visions seem to be about the same events, and all point to the same, final climax; that is, that the persecutions and slaughter of the true saints will continue until the time that יהושע the Messiah returns, so that every eye will see Him. He will then do two things: He will gather the tares (the wicked) and burn them up. Then He will gather His saints into the air and take them into His glorious 1,000-year Kingdom. See 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 2 Thessalonians 1:3-10 and 2:1-14, and Ezekiel 37:11-14. I am come in My Fathers name and you receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive” (John 5:43). This anti-Messiah will come (you might say) in his own name because he exalts himself above all that is called Elohim. But he will come to his end at the glorious appearing of the Messiah. He will magnify himself even to the Prince of the host of heaven, and by him the daily sacrifice will be taken away (in the coming temple of the Jews) when the abomination of desolation is placed there (Daniel 11:31). Destruction Cut Short for the Sake of the Saints יהושע warned of terrible events to come to this earth: When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso reads, let him understand:) then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains: but pray that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day: for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be (Matthew 24:15-16, 20-21). These are the same events Daniel predicted nearly 2,600 years ago. He also said it would be such as never was since there was a nation. Both were for the end time, and both spoke of a resurrection to follow. The time of trouble will be so bad at the end of this age that the destruction will have to be cut short; otherwise, no one would be left alive on the face of the whole earth (Matthew 24:22). יהוה will have to intervene because of the elect, the righteous ones, who will be on the earth at that time. There will also be some wicked and false prophets. He says to the elect, Then, if any man shall say unto you, ‘Lo, here is the Messiah, or there,’ believe it not. For there shall arise false messiahs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect (Verses 23-24). This includes the “man of sin” in the temple in Jerusalem. Notice that the “very elect” are still on earth, not raptured to safety during tribulation, while the man of sin reigns. Why does יהושע tell us not to be fooled by these false messiahs? How will we know they are imposters? We will know because there will be no secret about it when the true Messiah comes to gather His people. For as lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be (Matthew 24:27). יהושע has not made His second appearance. He was simply explaining to them the manner in which He would come. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other (Matthew 24:29-31). General Tribulation Is Coming No resurrection or catching up of the saints is mentioned, except for the two witnesses, before this resurrection. Mark 13:24 tells the same story. He plainly wrote, But in those days, after the tribulation, the sun shall be darkened. All sorts of tribulation precedes the time when יהושע will gather His saints to set up His Kingdom on earth. Luke says almost the same thing in chapter 21. Revelation 1:7 says, Behold He comes with clouds, and every eye shall see Him; and they also which pierced Him, and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. There is absolutely nothing invisible, secret or complicated about that. It is merely a matter of acceptance or non-acceptance. Why do you not understand my speech? Is it because you cannot hear My word? (John 8:43) And because I tell you the truth, you believe Me not. He that is of יהוה hears יהוהs words. You, therefore, hear them not, because you are not of יהוה (verses 45 and 47). Will you accept the plain words of Scripture? These are יהוה’s words, not this writer’s or any other man’s. If you will not believe, then you are not countering anyone but יהוה, because they are indeed His Words. Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Good News which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received; that Messiah died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). This is the Good News in a brief, simple form. There is no promise of life or “catching up of the saints” in Scripture until the wrath of יהוה passes (see Isaiah. 25:4-9). Your dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, you that dwell in dust: for your dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Come, My people, enter into your chambers, and shut your doors about you: hide yourself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, יהוה comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain (Isaiah 26:19-21). Please do not be dull of hearing but read with understanding. Clearly some will escape the indignation because they are protected on earth—not in heaven—while יהוה pours out His indignation on the wicked. Some of the saints will still be living on earth and will sing and glorify יהוה. This is Scripturally evident! Read the whole prophecy in Isaiah 24. Notice particularly Verses 5-6 and 14-16, They shall lift up their voice and sing for the majesty of יהוה. They shall cry aloud from the sea. Wherefore glorify you יהוה in the fires? Even the Name of יהוה, Eloah of Israel, in the isles of the seas. Typical Martyrdom Will Occur We know from history of the great persecutions in the Middle Ages that martyrdom will occur. Read Foxes Book of Martyrs and others on the subject. Also read Daniel 11:33, which says, And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity and by spoil, many days. Many saints were burned at the stake and others had limbs cut off, yet they died rejoicing. Are you ready to face such an experience? They loved not their lives unto death (Revelation 12:11). Does that frighten you? If so, you are not fully dressed to meet יהושע—our husband— when He comes. Love not the world, neither the things of the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of Elohim abides forever (1 John 2:15-17). For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for My sake and the Glad Tidings, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Mark 8:35-37). This is more proof that we join יהושע when He returns. But thats not all. He brings all before Him to His throne. There He will judge all, rewarding everyone according to their own works. When the Son of Man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne...before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another (Matthew 25:31-32). For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of יהוה: and if it first begins at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the Good News of יהוה? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the wicked and the sinner appear? (1 Peter 4:17-18) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment...to them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation (Hebrews 9:27-28). I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which יהושע, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing (2 Timothy 4:7-8). And one of the elders answered...‘These are they which came out of the great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.’ Therefore are they before the throne of יהוה, and serve Him day and night in His temple and יהוה shall wipe away all tears from their eyes (Revelation 7:13-17). When do these events take place? For as in Adam all die, even so in Messiah shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Messiah the firstfruits; afterward they that are Messiahs at His coming. Then comes the end...The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death (1 Corinthians 15:21-26). So shall it be at the end of this world; the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing, and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 13:49-50). ...I will say to the reapers, ‘Gather together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into My barn’ (Matthew 13:30). Kingdom to Come to Earth Lets calculate from the figures given us in the Book of Daniel. The sanctuary is to be trodden under foot 2,300 days and then cleansed. The angel Gabriel said to Daniel, Understand O son of man; for at the time of the end shall be the vision, (Daniel 8:17). The king of fierce countenance (Verse 23) will magnify himself and ultimately stand up against the Prince of princes, after destroying the mighty and holy people (Verse 24). He continues for a time, times, and a half (about three and one-half years). And when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. The “things” which shall be finished include everything mentioned heretofore and even to the end of Chapter 12. The statement, When he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people… involves an extension of time beyond the time, times, and a half time to the end of 1,290 days. Then he comes to his end. Following is a waiting period of 45 days to the resurrection (Daniel 12:11-13). This agrees with Revelation 19:11-21 and 20:1-5. This is the first resurrection. And it shall be said in that day, ‘Lo, this is our Eloah; we have waited for Him, and He will save us: this is יהוה; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation,’ (Isaiah 25:8-9). Do you see the resurrection of the righteous and the marriage supper of the Lamb taking place for all people right here on earth? Compare Revelation 19:7-9, And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship יהוה in the holy mount at Jerusalem, (Isaiah 27:13). Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (1 Corinthians 15:51-52). And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect (Matthew 24:31). But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall He send His angels, and shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven (Mark 13:24-27). In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33). When the Son of Man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory: and before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides His sheep from the goats (Matthew 25:31-32). Before this, He is not called King; but He will be King and Judge over all the earth, sitting on the throne of יהוה; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the Name of יהוה, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart. Read Jeremiah 3:14-18. He does not lift the nations up into the air and hold them there while He judges them. Many true worshipers will suffer with the rest of mankind when calamity befalls our world in the end time, according to Scripture. That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto. For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass... (1 Thessalonians 3:3-4). And יהוה make you to increase and abound in love one toward another and toward all men, even as we do toward you: to the end He may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before יהוה, even our Father, at the coming of our Master, יהושע the Messiah, with all His saints (1 Thessalonians 3:12-13). But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that יהושע died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in יהושע will He bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the Word of יהוה, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Savior shall not precede them which are asleep. For the Master Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of יהוה: and the dead in Messiah shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Savior in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Master … (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). We are bound to thank יהוה always for you … for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure: which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of יהוה, that you may be counted worthy of the Kingdom of יהוה, for which you also suffer … when the Savior יהושע shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not יהוה, and that obey not the message of our Master יהושע Messiah: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Master, and from the glory of His power; when He shall come to be glorified in His saints, and to be admired in them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day (2 Thessalonians 1:3-10). Why the Savior Will Return There is only one “coming” mentioned here, but for two purposes: first to punish the wicked, and second, to receive His saints. But of the times and seasons, brethren, you have no need that I write unto you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of יהוה so comes as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, ‘Peace and safety;’ then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation. For יהוה has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Master יהושע the Messiah (1 Thessalonians 5:1-4, 8-9). The Apostle Paul continues the same subject in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12. Both messages are explanations of the day of יהוה—day of Messiah. Both basically teach one event to accomplish two purposes: to sever the wicked from the just and then to burn them up. Study also Malachi 4; Joel 3:9-18; Zechariah 14:1-9; Isaiah 24, 25:5-9, 26:12-21, and Chapters 65-66. These teach the Good News of the Kingdom of יהוה. First, destruction, then the peaceful Kingdom of יהוה on earth. In 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3, Paul forewarns us against being deceived. The faithful, in various Scriptures, are promised persecution and tribulation. Provided here are plain references to a few of these statements. There are many more, too numerous even to mention. Which is a manifest token (or sign of approval) of the righteous judgment of יהוה, that you may be counted worthy of the Kingdom of יהוה, for which you also suffer (2 Thessalonians 1:5). Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you (Matthew 5:10-12). Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Savior יהושע the Messiah, and by our gathering together unto Him... (2 Thessalonians 2:1). In other places in the King James, it is called “the day of יהוה” or “day of Messiah.” That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, that the day of Messiah is at hand (2 Thessalonians 2:2). In other words, we should not get excited or troubled, either by a supernatural being, a word (maybe a prophecy) or letter, possibly stating that the Messiah is due to come immediately. We are not to be alarmed by these or any other means because His appearance will not take place until a great rebellion and backsliding occurs among the so-called Christian world. This will then pave the way for general unbelief in a Supreme Being, except for the “man of sin” who comes claiming to be the Almighty. Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (Verse 3). Anyone teaching a pre-tribulation rapture of the saints is a deceiver (Verses 2-3), and is teaching contrary to all other Scriptures on the subject shown in this booklet. You may have been taught that the “man of sin” cannot come until the Body of Messiah is “raptured” out of the way, but the Apostle Paul says that the “man of sin” and the time of backsliding must come first! There is no such thing as a secret rapture. יהושע will make His appearance to the whole world—at the sound of a great trumpet and voice of the archangel at the last trumpet. And every eye shall see Him, and all families of the earth shall wail because of Him; even so, Amen (Revelation 1:7). That wicked man of sin, son of perdition, will be destroyed about that time. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. It will be swallowed up in victory, in the resurrection. And יהוה shall wipe away all tears from our eyes (Revelation 7:17 and Isaiah 25:8). Compare a new translation, with the sacred Names inserted: And now, what about the coming again of our Master, יהושע Messiah, and our being gathered together to meet Him? If you hear of people having visions and special messages from יהוה … do not believe them … For that day will not come until two things happen: first, there will be a time of great rebellion against יהוה, and then the man of rebellion will come—the son of hell ... He will go in and sit as a mighty one in the temple of יהוה, claiming that he himself is Elohim … but he himself will not come until the one who is holding him back steps out of the way. Then this wicked one will appear, whom the Savior יהושע will burn up with the breath of His mouth and destroy with His presence. When He returns, this man of sin will come as Satans tool, full of satanic power, and will trick everyone with strange demonstrations, and will do great miracles. He will completely fool those who are on their way to hell. The doctrine of the pre-tribulation rapture does away with preparing spiritually for the calamity to come on this earth. How shocked many will be when they find themselves not wafting off to heaven, but facing catastrophe as prophesied! Prepare for that future time by study, prayer, and obedience. Protection is promised on earth—not in heaven—for those who choose to be faithful. Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 are all so very clear saying that Messiah will not come until after the tribulation! Mat 24:21 “For then there shall be great distress,1 such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. Footnote:1Or great pressure, or great affliction. Mat 24:22 “And if those days were not shortened, no flesh would be saved, but for the sake of the chosen ones those days shall be shortened. Mat 24:23 “If anyone then says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe. Mat 24:24 “For false messiahs and false prophets shall arise, and they shall show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones. Mat 24:25 “See, I have forewarned you. Mat 24:26 “So if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe. Mat 24:27 “For as the lightning comes from the east and shines to the west, so also shall the coming of the Son of Aḏam be. Mat 24:28 “For wherever the dead body is, there the eagles shall be gathered together.1 Footnote:1Lk. 17:37. Mat 24:29 “And immediately after the distress1 of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. Footnote:1Or pressure. Mat 24:30 “And then the sign of the Son of Aḏam shall appear in the heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Aḏam coming on the clouds of the heaven with power and much esteem. Mat 24:31 “And He shall send His messengers with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. A PLACE OF SAFETY There are scriptures that talk about a place of Safety for some, NOT A RAPTURE, this may not be an easy place. Here in VS 6 the Women are those that keep the Sabbath, the Holy days of יהוה and carry the Testimony of Yahushua. She is The End time Assembly. Some of the body of Yahushua, not all. Rev 12:6 And the woman “fled” into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of Elohim, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and sixty days. Here we see the word “fled“. This is also the same as the word “flee“. We will see the word “flee” several more times in coming scriptures. Now we see the time is to be 1260 days. Daniel talk about 1260 days. This time is 3 and ½ years. Also referred to as a time, a time and a half a time in the next scripture. This is also the length of the tribulation. It is also referred to as the length of time that the Antichrist will rule from Jerusalem. Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might “fly” into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. Now the wings of an eagle are not to be taken literal. It just means they will be taken out on the edge of an army or withdrawn and protected. You do want to make a mental not of the word “Fly“. In later verses we see several scriptures that talk about a “flight“. So you get the same general meaning with the two words. A flight or to fly. Rev 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. Here it is talking about people on the earth helping these people and יהוה swallowing up the water. Water can also mean people. It is not always literally water as in a flood. Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of Elohim, and have the testimony of Yahushua. In the beginning of this study I pointed out that the people that would go to the place of safety were those who kept the commandments and had the testimony of Yahushua. Here we see this repeated in scripture, so you can see it’s not just something I am making up. So the rest of the people that are not in the place of safety that Yah has prepared for, are going to be going through a ruff time, as Satan is going to make war with them. They will be tried and tested further. Rev 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against Elohim, to blaspheme His Name, and His Tent, and those dwelling in the heaven. Rev 13:7 And it was given to him to fight with the set-apart ones and to overcome them. And authority was given to him over every tribe and tongue and nation. Zep 2:1 Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; Zep 2:2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of יהוה come upon you, before the day of יהוהs anger come upon you. Zep 2:3 Seek ye יהוה, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of יהוהs anger. So we see that we are to gather together the nation not desired. We are the spiritual nation that no one desires. That is why everyone is always against us and wanting to argue our beliefs with us, even though they are only from scripture. The word Zephania means יהוה hides. Joe 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of יהוה come. So we can see here what day and time frame this prophecy is talking about, the end times. Joe 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of יהוה shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as יהוה hath said, and in the remnant whom יהוה shall call. So we see here that it is from Jerusalem and Mount Zion shall be deliverance. Then we see we are to flee from there. It does not say how we get there, but that is where faith comes in. Do not worry about this, how you will get there. יהוה will provide a way. Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? Mat 24:4 And יהושע answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. I put this in for content. I have some people that have said this already happened in 70 AD. Well the end of the world did not happen in 70 AD. We are all still here. Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, whoso readeth, let him understand: Mat 24:16 “then let those who are in Yehud_ah “flee” to the mountains. So those in Judea are to “flee” to the mountains. The abomination of desolation is when the Sacrifices are stopped after 45 days. Then something Pagan is put on the Alter of sacrifice. So they will more than likely be lead by the Ruach to the place of Safety. Mat 24:17 “Let him who is on the house-top not come down to take whatever out of his house. Mat 24:18 “And let him who is in the field not turn back to get his garments. Right after this, Israel will be over ran with armies. 2/3 will die by the sword. So you can see the urgency Yah puts in these words here to flee in haste. He does not want them to look back. Mat 24:19 “And woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing children in those days! Mat 24:20 “And pray that your “flight” does not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. Mat 24:21 “For then there shall be great distress,1 such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. Here we see the word “flight“. It is very close to the word “Flee“. So we see the same types of word repeated to get the point across. Where are they going? Where is this Flight going? Can we buy a ticket to get on this flight? How many seats are on it? That is where our faith comes into place. We must have the faith that he is going to guide us during this time. We are told that it is going to happen and when, just not where it is. This is to test us all, for those that are worthy to go to this place of safety. I pray I am worthy. It should be something we all pray about. We should pray this at least a few times a month. Luk 21:36 “Watch then at all times, and pray that you be counted worthy to escape all this about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Aḏam.” Mar 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, let him that readeth understand, then let them that be in Judaea “flee” to the mountains: Here we see it again in Mark. We are told to read and understand. The clues are here for us brothers and sisters. Are we going to listen to the clues? Mar 13:15 “And he who is on the house-top, let him not go down into the house, nor come in to take whatever out of his house. Mar 13:16 “And he who is in the field, let him not go back to get his cloak. Mar 13:17 “And woe to those who are pregnant and to those nursing children in those days! Mar 13:18 “And pray that your “flight” does not take place in winter. We don’t want our Flight to be in winter. Mar 13:19 “For in those days there shall be distress, such as has not been from the beginning of creation which Elohim created until this time, nor ever shall be. We see this is not going to be a nice time on earth, never such a time since the begging of craeation. Mar 13:20 “And if the Master had not shortened those days, no flesh would have been saved; but because of the chosen ones, whom He chose, He shortened the days. Luk 21:17 “And you shall be hated by all because of My Name. Luk 21:18 “But not a hair of your head shall be lost at all. Luk 21:19 “Possess your lives by your endurance! Luk 21:20 “And when you see Yerushalayim surrounded by armies, then know that its laying waste is near. So we know this happens when Jerusalem is surrounded by armies. So we have several signs to look for here to know the time is close. We have the sacrifices being stopped, we have the Abomination of Desolation. So 3 signs. Luk 21:21 “Then let those in Yehud_ah “flee” to the mountains, and let those who are in the midst of her go out, and let not those who are in the fields enter her. Luk 21:22 “Because these are days of vengeance, to fill all that have been written. Luk 21:23 “And woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing children in those days! For there shall be great distress in the earth and wrath upon this people. Luk 21:24 “And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Yerushalayim shall be trampled underfoot by the gentiles until the times of the gentiles are filled. Now before I asked the Question how many will be on that flight? We see here that the number is 144 thousand. 12 thousand from each tribe will be sealed. Now there is also a hidden message here. Please refer to the teaching Doc called Rev hidden Message. Rev 7:3 saying, “Do not harm the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees until we have sealed the servants of our Elohim upon their foreheads.”1 Footnote: 1See 9:4, 14:1, 22:4. Rev 7:4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundre...d and forty-four thousand, sealed out of all the tribes of the children of Yisra’el: Rev 7:5 of the tribe of Yehud_ah twelve thousand were sealed, of the tribe of Re’ub_en twelve thousand were sealed, of the tribe of Gad_ twelve thousand were sealed, Rev 7:6 of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were sealed, of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand were sealed, of the tribe of Menashsheh twelve thousand were sealed, Rev 7:7 of the tribe of Shimʽon twelve thousand were sealed, of the tribe of Lewi twelve thousand were sealed, of the tribe of Yissask_ar twelve thousand were sealed, Rev 7:8 of the tribe of Zeb_ulun twelve thousand were sealed, of the tribe of Yoseph twelve thousand were sealed, of the tribe of Binyamin twelve thousand were sealed. Rev 7:16 “They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more, neither shall the sun strike them, nor any heat, Rev 7:17 because the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shall shepherd them and lead them to fountains of waters of life. And Elohim shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Rev 3:10 “Because you have guarded My Word of endurance, I also shall guard you from the hour of trial which shall come upon all the world, to try those who dwell on the earth. Rev 3:11 “See, I am coming speedily! Hold what you have that no one take your crown. Rev 3:12 “He who overcomes, I shall make him a supporting post in the Dwelling Place of My Elohim, and he shall by no means go out. And I shall write on him the Name of My Elohim and the name of the city of My Elohim, the renewed Yerushalayim, which comes down out of the heaven from My Elohim, and My renewed Name. Rev 3:13 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.” ’ Psa 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, Who abides under the shadow of the Almighty, Psa 91:2 He is saying of יהוה, “My refuge and my stronghold, My Elohim, in whom I trust!” Psa 91:3 For He delivers you from the snare of a trapper, From the destructive pestilence. Psa 91:4 He covers you with His feathers, And under His wings you take refuge; His truth is a shield and armour. Psa 91:5 You are not afraid of the dread by night, Of the arrow that flies by day, Psa 91:6 Of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Of destruction that ravages at midday. Psa 91:7 A thousand fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it does not come near you. Psa 91:8 Only with your eyes you look on, And see the reward of the wrong ones. Psa 91:9 Because you have made יהוה – My refuge, the Most High – your dwelling place, Psa 91:10 No evil befalls you, And a plague does not come near your tent; Psa 91:11 For He commands His messengers concerning you, To guard you in all your ways. Psa 91:12 They bear you up in their hands, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. Psa 91:13 You tread upon lion and cobra, Young lion and serpent you trample under foot. Psa 91:14 “Because he cleaves to Me in love, Therefore I deliver him; I set him on high, Because he has known My Name. Psa 91:15 “When he calls on Me, I answer him; I am with him in distress; I deliver him and esteem him. Psa 91:16 “With long life I satisfy him, And show him My deliverance.” Zep 2:1 Gather together, gather together, O nation without shame, Zep 2:2 before the decree is born – the day shall pass on like chaff – before the burning wrath of יהוה comes upon you, before the day of wrath of יהוה comes upon you! Zep 2:3 Seek יהוה, all you meek ones of the earth, who have done His right-ruling. Seek righteousness, seek meekness, if so be that you are hidden in the day of wrath of יהוה. This is the day we all look forward to!!! HALLELUYAH!!!! I hope this was a blessing to you! Please feel free to ask any questions. I am happy to serve you all anyway I can. With brotherly love in the body of Messiah in the Way, Brother Jay
