They had to do an ileostomy but did not fold over to suture yet. Left small bowel out about 4 inches into ostomy bag. Still a bunch of pus in his stomach. They will take him back for a wash out tomorrow. The trauma surgeon said this would take multiple, multiple abdominal surgeries and that we would get to know each other very well. Surgeon said this could go either way but there is no way he would have pulled through it unless he was young. KEEP PRAYING!!
