WINNAVEGAS CASINO RESORT JOB DESCRIPTION NAIL TECHNICIAN The Nail Technician’s main responsibility will be working with nails. They will perform manicures, pedicures, and other types of similar work on guest’s nails. JOB DUTIES: 1. Shape nails, groom cuticles, polish nails, apply and remove artificial nails, nail extensions, and apply nail art. 2. Be responsible for daily sales of services as well as nail products. 3. Record all inventories in and out daily as well as inventory of nail products. 4. Be responsible for answering the phones and scheduling appointments. 5. Count and ensure the accuracy of all issued inventory at the start and end of each shift. 6. Ensure the salon is clean and presentable prior to opening and closing. 7. Provide management with a weekly report of all inventory needs and financial information. 8. Must attend all training and/or meetings as directed by management and keep license current with the State of Iowa. 9. Must be able to interact successfully with associates and guests. 10. Perform all other job related duties as assigned. AUTHORITY AND SUPERVISORY CAPACITY Possesses authority needed to accomplish 1 – 10 above. SIGNATURE AUTHORITY: None ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS: With Security escort in accordance with Internal Controls. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 1. Must hold a current Nail Technician License in Iowa. 2. High School diploma or GED required. 3. Basic computer skills. 4. Previous money handling experience preferred. 5. Must have excellent communication, presentation and mathematical skills. 6. Must be able to interact successfully with associates and guests 7. Good organizational and clerical skills required. 8. Must be able to obtain gaming license. 9. Bi-cultural experience preferred. 10. Native American preference. CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT 1. Must have a telephone. 2. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs 3. Must be able to withstand a smoky environment for extended periods of time, with direct exposure to secondhand smoke.
