Callenberg (4g Christen Cullen / Coburg) won his first start at Oamaru on 18 May, for a horse with big wraps and his dam and ½-sister are both for Sale at Karaka on Friday 30 May (Coburg - Infoal to Bettors Delight) - bred by the Coburg Syndicate who are reducing numbers and have kept a Coburg weanling and her daughter Veste. Fifth Edition (4g Mach Three / Angela Patron) also won at Oamaru on 18 May in a 1:57.7 mile rate and fast closing sectionals of 55.2 and 26.8, to now have 8 wins & 8 placings, for $50,507 – he has had 3 wins in his last 4 starts – his dam Angela Patron is also in the Karaka Sale, infoal to Rocknroll Hanover. Placegetters this week were Sonic Classic 2nd Narrogin, Sweet Lucy Brown 2nd and Art I Special 2nd both at Cambridge, with the latter providing the quinella with Tactful Lady.
