March 27, 2014 DISCOVERING YOUR POTENTIALS Act 20:32 Now Im turning you over to God, our marvelous God whose gracious Word can make you into what he wants you to be and give you everything you could possibly need in this community of holy friends. God’s word has the ability to build you up and make you into the person you were destined to be. It can build up your finance, self esteem and your relationship. Inherent in the word is the capacity to make you perform to the fullest of your potential. Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. We have all been made to be kings and the first thing a king does is to make for himself a copy of the book of the law - the Bible. In a world where different voices are constantly competing for our attention, we must hold fast to the Word for our way to be made prosperous. Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. The reason we do not do the Word is that we do not spend time meditating on it. If you meditate, you will act it out. Thus, it is impossible to do the Word without first meditating on it. Every area of your life you desire to keep intact should be deposited with God by building it on the foundation of His Word. Act 20:32...which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance... Your inheritance, as a believer, is tied to the word. Living in health, academic success, spiritual maturity and stability are all connected to Gods word.
