APRIL 22, 2014 THE KING IN YOU Revelation 1:6 ...And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. When you understand who you have been made to be in Christ and you live in that consciousness, you will live in the reality of all that God has promised you. We have been ordained by God to function in two capacities - as kings and priests. The priest functions under authority and his dealings are with God. The King on the other hand has authority and his dealings are with his fellow men and the circumstances surrounding him. Whenever we pray, we operate as priests but when we go about our daily activities (in our place of work, schools, etc), we act as kings. In order to avoid humiliation, you must learn the proper protocol required for dealing with life’s challenges. When dealing with contradictions, go on your knees to God in prayer but when you step out to take on the challenges, speak as a king. The king does not beg situations to conform to his whims, he dictates to situations and they have no choice but to align. A king does not address situations on his knees but on his feet in a position of authority. (Ecc.8:4) Stop begging that sickness to disappear, those bills to be paid, that business to flourish; Dictate to them!!! The king understands that what makes him who he is, is not what he possesses but the authority that backs his throne. Should the king lose all he possesses, he does not panic because he knows that the throne and the authority which backs it will reproduce everything and much more. God is the authority that backs your throne so when you speak to situations, you are to speak as though it were God Himself making the declarations.
