WINNING EACH DAY DEVOTIONAL 2 Cor 2:14 And thanks be to God who ALWAYS causes us to triumph… May 17, 2014 THE LAW OF CONNECTION Psalm 92:12-14 The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing. Littered all across the Bible are principles that are capable of altering your destiny for good. They can change your life from what it is now to what it ought to be in God. This is why the Bible is the most important thing you can ever embrace. However, there is a little challenge to this because those principles are not conspicuous in the Bible. So it becomes your personal responsibility to find them out as ignorance does not exempt you from their consequences. In the above scripture, the reason why the man is righteous is because He is planted. To flourish is to blossom, produce and be a plus. This means to develop or come to a promising stage where God can depend absolutely on you. Galatians 4:1 explains the reason God can’t commit certain things to our hands because we haven’t come to this stage yet. You don’t flourish until you are a plant. Isaiah 61:3…That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified. God sees us as trees. The beauty of every plant or tree is fruit. A tree that does not produce fruit is useless. What is the fruit that God can say consistently He plucks from your tree as a believer? Don’t just take up space in church. Contribute to the church God has planted you in. CONFESSION: I am coming to a point of growth where God will open the windows of heaven to release a constant flow of resources into my life!
