Nov 14, 2013 ENJOYING THE BLESSING II Gal. 4:22-23 For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a free-woman. (23) But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise. You need faith and patience to receive THE BLESSING (Heb.6:12) This is why always wants to see your faith on display. It is also the reason He some times delays His blessings. The covenant God made with Abraham was not actually made for him but for us who are his heirs. There is a physical Jerusalem and a spiritual Jerusalem and we belong to the spiritual Jerusalem. Abraham has physical children and spiritual children and we who have accepted Jesus into our lives count as his spiritual children. Thus, we are entitled to his BLESSING. It is time to stop apologising for being blessed! The physical Children of Abraham are Ishmaels children and they are also the present day Jews. It is a well known fact that Jews proper wherever they find themselves; they have a lot of influence in the world today. My question to you then is If these physical Jews can have such influence on the world what is to be expected of the spiritual children of Abraham who were born of the promise? Salvation is what is to be expected from the spiritual Jews. Salvation doesnt mean being born again, it means prosperity, good health, wisdom, glory, blessing. It means being rescued from a dismal condition. Salvation can however only be received when we confess Jesus as our Lord and saviour. CONFESSION: I receive THE BLESSING upon the works of my hands for greater exploits. Im a carrier of Gods uncommon blessing.
