WINSTON from Winn Dixie I rescued this kitty after I almost ran him over; he was starving, eating French fries on the road coming out of a Winn Dixie /McDonalds shopping center, in South Miami Heights. I called kitty kitty & he came running to me, wouldve jumped inside car by himself. I planned to TNR, knowing his life in that parking lot wouldnt last long, & he had no feeder, but.... He is so awesomely sweet & friendly, I didnt have the heart to dump him back in the parking lot. I almost got him a home, but he tested FIV/FeLv + on the SNAP test. Very faint + on Both, specially on the FeLv, but needs more accurate confirmatory tests, BEFORE being condemmed to a label of positive for life. Winston has been a good eater, gained 2 lbs, and plumped up, is HEALTHY & ASYMPTOMATIC. You can all see from the video what a sweet, loving, innocent sweetheart he is. I live in a small apartment & cannot isolate him from other cats except by crating him. He needs to be re-tested by IFA/Western blot, but I cant afford those tests. Winston needs to be ruled out or confirned +, and find somewhere to live his life Safely & Happily. He deserves that. I need help to help Winston, I got him off the awful parking lot, got him plump & healthy, but I cant do more for him on my own. PLEASE tag & share for pledges for testing/rescue/foster/forever home. He is too sweet, loving & healthy, to be Euthanized based on a simple screening test result.
