WINTER STORM WARNING from Enid/Garfield County Emergency Management: As most may be aware, the NWS has upgraded the watch to a WINTER STORM WARNING EFFECTIVE 0100L, (1AM) TUESDAY MORNING UNTIL 1600L (4pm) TUESDAY AFTERNOON. We could see upwards of 4 to 6 inches of snow and there may be bands of heavier snowfall too. Roads will become extremely hazardous during the overnight hours tonight so keep this in mind for the Tuesday morning drive to work. Today’s high will be in the upper 30′s with ESE winds 5 to 15 mph. Tonight’s low in the upper 20′s with southeast winds 5-15 mph. Chance for snow overnight is 80% and snow on Tuesday is 100%. Take today and prepare for snow tonight and tomorrow and then again Wednesday night off and on through the weekend. These storm systems are strong but we have dealt with this before. Use good common sense and just slow down if you have to be out and about, otherwise, stay at home and enjoy the snow. Will advise as needed. Have a great day!! #enidokwx #winterstorm #dammit
