Increased wind speeds over central new mexico on sunday will produce areas of blowing snow as the storm moves through. As the last of the storm reaches northeast new mexico sunday evening...Skies will clear from west to east across the state by monday morning to end this round of wintry weather. ...Winter weather advisory remains in effect from 3 pm this afternoon to 5 am mst sunday... A winter weather advisory for snow remains in effect from 3 pm this afternoon to 5 am mst sunday. * Snow accumulations...2 to 4 inches...With 3 to 6 inches possible at elevations above 7500 feet. * Timing...Rain will change over to snow late this afternoon...With snow becoming more widespread and heavier this evening. * Winds...West 10 to 20 mph. * Snow levels...Temperatures will be cold enough for snow at all locations by early this evening. * Local impacts...Travel may become hazardous due to low visibilities in snow.
