WINTER WORKSHOPS | We are pleased to announce our Winter Workshops for the July school holidays! Only $5 deposit required to secure your place! Special prices for existing students! Discounts available for families and multiple bookings. ********** LETS GET TRICKY! (ages 7-11) A Jazz workshop full of kicks, turns and leaps! This fun technique class is suitable for dancers of all levels. Students will be introduced to a range of combinations including warm-ups, stretches, isolations, front kicks, side kicks, fan kicks, back kicks, chaines, pose turns, pirouettes and split leaps. Don’t worry if some of these skills are new to you as they will be taught in a fun and open environment. The workshop will finish with a short Commercial Jazz/Funk routine using the skills learned. All participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance. Tuesday 17th July: 10.00am-1.00pm Only $25 when booked by 28th June ($20 for SA*PA students!) ********** SONG & STAGE WITH MELODY BEAR (ages 3-6) Fun and games for young children – don’t forget to bring your teddy! Younger children will love this workshop which explores the fun and magical world of Melody Bear through song and dance. The workshop will finish with a musical performance of a popular fairy tale! Children are encouraged to bring their own teddy to join in the fun. All participants will receive a Melody Bear sticker and a Certificate of Attendance. Tuesday 17th July: 11.00am-12.30pm Only $12.50 when booked by 28th June ($10 for SA*PA students!) ********** STAR THEATRE SKILLS (ages 5-8) Singing, Dancing and Acting! Younger students will enjoy this triple-threat Theatre Skills workshop which will introduce them to a range of Singing, Dance and Acting skills. Using popular songs, students will use the skills learned to create a mini-Musical to perform for their parents. All participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance. Tuesday 17th July: 1.30pm-4.30pm Only $25 when booked by 28th June ($20 for SA*PA students!) ********** CREATIVE SONGWRITING (ages 9-17) An introduction to Songwriting for older students Older students will enjoy this fun and creative introduction to songwriting. They will learn a range of techniques and then will try their hand at writing their own song lyrics and putting a melody to them. Students will also be given the opportunity to perform any original songs they have written previously. All participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
