WIPW! Been working on learning Valleyviolets pony patterns. My latest attempt is the princess. I know some ways Ill improve my construction but I do have a couple questions for those who also sew plushies. Im having a lot of problems with the fabric. Im used to using minky for plushies but am experimenting with quilting fabric to make use of the beautiful patterns. However the quilting fabric with such small intricate stitches and turnings seems to pull apart very easily. Is there any way to decrease fabric pullings? My other question is, do you think these would sell? For the price I could sell them for, would it be worth it? Theyre fairly intricate patterns that take a long time but result in smallish ponies so Im worried people will see the size and want a lower price. Plush theyre delicate and Im worried people will expect they can manhandle them like most plushies. Anyway thanks for any thoughts on my two issues!
