WISE CHOICE Another weekend rolls around, but you have no one special to share it with. You get into your bed at night alone and wonder, “I’m a great man/woman, why don’t I have a real partner to share my life with? Youre now afraid of being alone, when you fear being alone, you’re much more likely to make bad choices and end up getting involved with or staying in bad relationships because it distracts you from feeling lonely. Moreover, when youre ready, you will discover youre not with the right person which most times wont be easy to get out of such relationship and you continue to endure. If you believe that a loving relationship will ease the emptiness inside you, the harsh reality is that no relationship is ever going to be able to “fill you up.” Once the easy emotional connection and satisfaction of “new love” wears off; you’ll find that you’re not “filled up” after all and no matter what he/she does or says, ultimately it won’t be good enough or feel good enough for you. The best relationships are not just about the good times you share but also about the obstacles you go through together. And loving someone is not just about saying it every day, but about showing it every day in every way. Wait until you truly find it rather than make a choice based on your state of loneliness. Marriage isnt an end to loneliness. Millions of married people are lonely too, still looking for a level of understanding and acceptance their spouse doesnt give them. So, it is better to be ready for love than to go into it because of loneliness. Invest in your self during your time of waiting, believe in yourself, set goals, do things that gives you pleasure and satisfaction than thinking of a lover as an escape route for loneliness. It pays to be lonely than to be with the wrong person. Wanting a partner out of loneliness or desperation will make you choose wrongly... BE IN LOVE WHEN YOU ARE READY FOR THE COMMITMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY, NOT WHEN YOU ARE LONELY. A GREAT RELATIONSHIP IS WORTH WAITING FOR.
