WITTENBERG - 3 shows to go - come on! Get your tickets here: sitco.net.au/whats_on.html Director Richard Hilliar has done a superb job of making the audience think but also laugh so hard we didn’t want it to end – well done. THE BUZZ FROM SYDNEY ...a work that is vibrantly alive, funny, and intellectually engaging at the same time...Brevity Theatre Company have put on a wonderful Wittenberg, performing it with a remarkably intimate feel for the text and a generous desire to see the work come to a new sort of life. Highly recommended. LISA THATCHER Sydney would do well to roll out the red carpet in celebration of the company’s arrival. Having set out with the mission of “producing theatre told in a sharp and simple way”, they’re doing a fine job of achieving their intention. CONCRETE PLAYGROUND This is an absolutely brilliant play...Its incredibly witty...both brilliantly clever and fantastically funny ...the whole cast is excellent. AUSTRALIAN STAGE Wittenbergs playful rewiring of history and the classics holds plenty of appeal, and not just for Reformation history wonks and lovers of Stoppardian wit. SYDNEY MORNING HERALD This production of David Davaloss WITTENBERG is a fast-paced, witty triumph of a play. SYDNEY ARTS GUIDE What a brilliant start to the year...could well be one of the highlights in theatre for 2014. WHATS ON SYDNEY Richard Hilliars direction is confident and precise...Design elements of the production are simple, elegant and effective...David Woodlands portrayal of John Faustus is charismatic, committed and irresistibly convincing. SUZY GOES SEE Articulate, erudite, and a damn good night! THEATRE RED
