WMC’s chief lobbyist, Scott Manley, explained why passing a right-to-work law is the top 2015-16 priority of the state’s largest business advocacy group and said he is confident it can pass the Legislature next session. In a Newsmakers interview, Manley also talked about WMC’s other priorities – cutting taxes, paying for highways and transportation programs and the need for statewide standards on frac sand mines. Manley also said soaring medical care costs are hurting the state’s Worker’s Compensation program, which must also be reformed. Manley also discussed WMC’s successful pre-election efforts to re-elect Gov. Scott Walker and Republicans legislators. Link to full interview:
