WO -IS GOING THROUGH MEDIEVAL PERIOD OF HISTORY. We are living in a period which can at best be described as medieval period and at that period of time there was no unity among the rulers of India and moreover there was no territory as India as such exists and there were hundred of small kingdoms scattered all around the large territory. The Turk, Afghan, Arab Lodhi, Khiliji, Mogul and many other foreign forces at regular interval invaded India for predatory and go on pillaging, plundering, mass slaughters solider, civilian and even children and women, rape. took hostage of civilian population sold them in the slave market and destroying temples where most of the wealth was stashed and at that point of time India was one of the richest country in the world. Instead of fighting against the foreign enemy forces unitedly, the Indian rulers were engaged in an intense war among themselves and even some Indian rulers invited these foreign forces to attack their enemy’s kingdom. During British rule, the very same things were happened which enabled it to rule this country for 200 years and left after looting precious wealth and dividing the country. The very much similar situation is prevailing in Western Odisha. We are fighting among ourselves, which help other to reap benefit out of it. There is nothing going to be changed in this region so long as this situation prevailed.
