WOD 1 Standards RX Division Below Knee Hang Snatch *Lift will start with a dead lift to full hip extension *The athlete will then move the bar to BELOW THE KNEE before initiating the snatch. (not your typical hang snatch) *Range of Motion will be a “Full” Snatch, or a squat snatch. Power snatch into a over-head squat will be accepted as long as the athlete reaches below parallel. *Athlete must show full control up top Scaled Division & Female Division Over-head Squat *Barbell will be starting on the ground. *Athletes can use any method to get the barbell over head, as long as arms are completely locked out. *Athletes should then perform a full over-head squat (below parallel) and show complete control up top. Super Scaled Division Thrusters *With barbell in the front rack position, athlete must perform a full front squat (below parallel) straight into a press with arms locked out over head with full control. *Movement should be performed in one motion. *Front squat then a press (2 separate movements) will NOT be accepted. *Front squat into a push jerk will also NOT be accepted.
