WOLVES AND LAMBS: 3 In one parable the wolf is acting like the lamb and in the other he is trying to pass himself off as one. When we see the parable of wolves in sheeps clothing we see that this is said to Jews, so you could say that this doesnt line up. But this again we see is Jews that are influenced by the nations to act a certain way. Lets look at an example of this. Peter separates himself when others come from Jerusalem. Anyone remember the rebuke? It is from Paul and he tells Peter he is acting contrary to the Jews. He was a wolf in sheeps clothes at this point. But to be fair to Peter we can see Peter go to Cornelious to eat with him. This is the wolf laying down with the lamb. I will give some scripture for some these points on my lunch or after work as time allows. :)
