Women’s State Trials WA Eight Ball Federation has taken the initiative to implement a new addition to the format of Women State Trials in order to get a huge leg up on the competition. Women trials will now have match games and skill based tests at each trial. There will be a set skill based test routine taught by Jack Halligan (AEBF and WAEBF Hall of Fame) on Sunday 23rd March at 12 noon at Federation HQ. All females considering and definitely participating in the women state trials this year is strongly encouraged to come to this session. A video will be recorded of this session and put on the website for those that cannot make it in person. The skill based tests will be assessed at every trial and points will be allocated for completion of the tests and accumulated onto the match play points to become one score. A best 5 out of 6 scores will be accumulated for the total score of each participant. The skill based test will be done either before or after match play at each trial, the decision will be finalised at a committee meeting soon.
