Some notes from the lecture (didnt include answers on purpose) :) The notes are to read if something may spark your interest to listen to the lecture InshaAllah. - Before Islam came, what was the position of women in the Arabian peninsula before our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) came? - You will never know what Islam did for women - Islam has liberated women. Islam gave women honor, dignity, and prestige. Islam makes a woman feel proud to be a woman. - First person to embrace Islam was a woman...who? - First person to die for Islam was a woman. The first person to lay down her life, give her life to Islam out of her love for Allah swt and the Rasul (saw) and for the religion of Islam. The first person to do this sacrifice was a woman. Who is that woman? - The greatest scholar of Islam to walk the face of this earth was a woman. Who is that woman? - The biggest sacrifice that was ever made for Islam was made by a woman. Who is that woman? - Why do women rush into the deen of Allah swt? - To treat a woman properly is so important in Islam that the prophet (saw) said We measure the goodness of a man by observing his treatment towards his wife. The best of you are those who treat their women best. - Your mother, your mother, your mother, your father. - Only in Islam you can gain dignity and purity. - We the Muslims, we are striving. What are we striving for? - Paradise lies at the feet of the mother. This is the up most honor Allah swt has given the women. - The advice of a woman saved the day. - A Muslim woman is supposed to be a noble and dignified woman, obedient woman. - The prophet (saw) said any woman who dies and when she is being placed in the grave, her husband was pleased with her.. - Islam makes it easy for women to enter Paradise... - The kufaar disgrace women - Comparison of kafir women vs Muslim women - Many women left Islam thinking they were oppressed by Islam not realizing they were oppressed by men . Not by Islam. - 4 *special* woman of Paradise. The ideal role model for women. They are.. - Women read Quran and Sunnah. Know you deen, learn your rights. Not until you know this, youll never be able to discover the beauty of Islam.
