WOO HOO! We just had another visit from our friendly neighbourhood health inspector! Just one infraction was noted and have already taken corrective action to repair it. Infraction: A fridge in our kitchen was not reading at the appropriate temperature and so with the health inspectors assistance we determined this may be due to: The door being opened and closed frequently due to food prep for the busy weekend ahead. The compressor needing another cleaning Or possibly too much food on the lower level of the fridge impeding proper temp circulation. Corrective action: We have limited access to the fridge for now to let it cool back down. Cleaned the compressor and moved the food as requested by the inspector. Taking temp readings hourly for the next week to ensure the fridge is maintaining a safe and reliable temperature The inspector will be back in next week to follow up on the infraction to ensure the problem is corrected.
