WORD FOR TODAY FROM JOHNNY LEE: I have not changed my message in my nearly a quarter of a century of preaching. I have always believed and will always believe Jesus is your ONLY ticket to heaven! True Christians preach Jesus Christ and Him crucified. The finished work on the cross is what reconciles man to God. There is only one way to heaven and that is through Christ Jesus. However all preachers and Christians in general must see every day as an opportunity to learn and grow. I dont care if one has preached for 100 years, we dont know everything and we have to be open to allow God to teach us. I have learned that there have been times I was wrong, and I have also learned that when I thought I was wrong about something, I was right. Every day ask the Holy Spirit to teach you new things you didnt know and where you may have been wrong to show you. There is an old saying, When you are GREEN you GROW, and where you are RIPE you ROT. Always be teachable. The Bible says it best in 2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. (KJV)
