WORDS FOR TODAY Isaiah 59:11--When the enemy comes in like a flood then the Lord will lift up a standard against Him. So I get a call this morning from my son saying hes been in ICU all night. Did I get upset? NO! Listen, I know its seems like all hell is breaking loose around you. Seem like you cant get a break. If its not one thing its another. People acting shady, children tripping, mate playing games with your heart and mind. Youre life is flooded with chaos! But according to the scripture, He has you covered! The enemy only does what God allows him to do, and what we allow. It all starts in the mind. If we dwell on the foolishness and negatives around us, then we fall victim to the enemy. Romans 12:2b tells us to change our mindset. Philippians 4:8 tells us what to think about. Isaiah 26:3 tells me I can have perfect peace if I keep my on Him. No, youre not going to think Jesus 24-7, youre human brain wont allow it. But when the negatives of life try to overwhelm you, thats when you need to activate His Word in your mind. Sure Im concerned about my son. But why am I going to stress when Isaiah 53:5b tells me hes already healed. Why walk around weighted down when I Peter 5:7 tells me to give all my worries and cares to Him. IJS, John 10:10--Jesus said: The thiefs purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. If he steals your joy, he will kill your spirit. And you know if youre not feeding your spirit with the Word, eventually he will destroy you. So study and learn the Word! Get it down in your spirit! Then you wont be a victim, but a Victor! Now give the Lord whats due Him. Anybody have an ANYHOW PRAISE! You gotta know I love you too life!!!
