WORDS OF KNOWLEDGE I like to go to thrift stores, you find some cool things there, and the price is usually right. A few weeks ago I walked into the Salvation Army and they had a very gently used 4 wheeled walker for $30 (this was a $189 unit when new). G-d gave me a word of knowledge that I needed it, so I looked at it, then said No Lynn would be upset, as we didnt need it, and wed have to store it so I didnt get it. A few weeks later the doctor said he liked our standard walker with 2 front wheels, but he really wanted Lynn to have a 4 wheeled walker for walking outside of the house...they start at $89 and go up to $250. Luckily we found someone who knew someone who had one we could borrow. G-d 1, George 0. I walked into MIRC and they had this strange looking thing for $5. G-d gave me a word of knowledge that I needed it, so I looked at it and thought what the heck is this and why would I ever need it, then said No Lynn would be upset, as whatever it is we dont need it so I didnt get it. Turns out its a handle that goes into the door latch to help you get out of the car...ended up buying one on eBay for $20, as we needed it. G-d 2, George 0. 99.9% of the time I go to church wearing my motorcycle vest, and G-d gave me a word of knowledge this morning that I needed to wear my vest today, I thought about it and decided not to wear it, it would be hot at church, and I didnt want to be too hot. At church I ran into this biker who wanted to talk to a Christian Motorcyclists Association person, but I didnt have my vest on. And it was cold at church today so it would have been nice to have had the vest. G-d 3, George 0. I worked so hard learning to hear G-d when He speaks to me, and then I dont pay attention when He speaks...NOT BRIGHT on my part. Ive really got to start paying attention to words of knowledge and follow up on them, even when they dont make a whole lot of sense. G-d knows a whole lot better than George does what I need in the future, or even later that day.
