Single file, flowing Freely from finger tips Tiny chasms of soul Plainly organized typography Building THIS… monocracy - WORDS. - To capture me To rapture me - To fail me To flail me - WORDS. - To REfine me AND to DEfine me – there are WORDS To speak and maybe to seek To find a piece of mind – there are WORDS - For the bleeding hearts and sacred parts – there are words - For lovers loss And for lusters love – there are words - For regret and remorse For those that we cannot seem to forget or divorce – there are words - For those who inspire us and unmire us – there are words - They are moons and stars And hopes and dreams - still small voices and creeks with sun beams They are resentment and contentment – traces of places KISSED With the most beautiful of faces. They are kind to me and they remind me That they are the anguish that does not languish They are an expression that does not lessen The embers of my soul - WORDS.
