Thursday 3rd July 2.30-4.15pm BOOKINGS NOW OPEN Cheeky Monkey’s holiday workshop; Working with LEGO, is designed to provide children with the opportunity to work together as a group to assemble wonderful LEGO creations with an emphasis on verbal and non-verbal communication, joint attention and task focus, collaborative problem solving, sharing and turn-taking. Play therapy builds on the natural way that children learn about themselves and their relationship with the world around them. The LEGO system of bricks is a highly structured, predictable and systematic construction toy, making it an often popular and motivating toy for children with speech, language and social difficulties who may normally shy away from play with peers.
