WORKOUT TIP: A nice way to increase the intensity of your workouts is to use constant tension. That basically means not giving the target muscle a chance to rest between reps. To achieve this it usually means cutting a rep a little short. For example, not coming all the way up doing squats, not lowering the weight all the way down doing barbell curls, and not letting your legs come back down to vertical doing hanging leg raises. Youll find constant tension reps more challenging, you therefore probably wont be able to use the same amount of resistance as you normally use. You shouldnt necessarily use constant tension all the time but just from time to time to challenge your muscles in a slightly different way. - Fabian
