WORKOUT TIP: Most of us have imbalances in our bodies: maybe your right biceps is larger than your left, or perhaps your left shoulder is more developed than your right, etc. To achieve symmetry and balance, DONT balance your workouts. I always work my less-developed side harder to let it catch up to the more developed side. For example, if Im doing biceps curls, Ill hold a 20 lb dumbbell in my right hand but use a 22.5 lb dumbbell in my left hand to build up my smaller, left biceps. Ill also throw in an extra few sets for my left side. This gives my weaker, left side a chance to catch up while keeping the right side on a maintenance load.
