WORLD AUTISM DAY -- Meet my son Chris. Diagnosed with moderate to severe autism at the age of 4. Today after major, intense early intervention and millions of hours of therapy. At 13 he is a wrestler, an advanced BJJ practitioner and in regular ed and advanced placement classes. And doing very well making principal honor roll. They told me it would be very unlikely for him to EVER leave special ed. Their intelligence test told me that he was below average. Really???? . LOL........ THEY COULDNT BE MORE WRONG! Point being..... Never give up hope parents. Dont let anyone tell you what you or your children are capable of achieving or doing!
