News Event, Wednesday (03/09/2014): An orientation was held in Hall 1 of Crescendo International College’s Desa Cemerlang Campus today to welcome a new batch of University of London (UOL) International Programmes students who will be taking their first year studies in the field of Accounting & Finance, Business & Management, and Law respectively. “This is not an easy degree to do, what more to gain a First Class Honours,” said Mr Fang, the College’s Chief Executive, “but it is altogether not an impossible feat to achieve. Just like what Terry [former Crescendo student] did when he eventually received First Class Honours in his Accounting & Finance Degree.” Terry Tan, a former Chinese medium high school student, proved against all odds that language is not a great barrier to success. [to follow Terry’s personal story, go to the following link] https://facebook/CICJB/posts/558228797616298 “The University of London is undoubtedly one of the best universities in the world,” he continued, “and before this, the privilege to be a student of the university was not easily available to anyone.” Mr Fang however pointed out that students who are determined to join UOL’s elite community of world-class scholars will never be disappointed with their decision. “The standards set by London is so high that employers aren’t going to question you about your qualification,” he said, referring to UOL graduates being preferred over others by employers world-wide, most of the time, due to the fact that they have proven themselves to be very determined and successful in overcoming rigorous challenges set by London to obtain such degree. “This is the 4th UOL orientation held in Crescendo’s Desa Cemerlang campus since it began operating in May 2014,” said Christine Lim, Crescendo’s UOL Programme Coordinator. “And a large number of them, in this batch, were former A Level students of Crescendo.” Crescendo A Level students who later pursue a UOL Degree with the college will receive guaranteed scholarships of RM3,100 each, in addition to having PTPTN loans that cover almost 90% of their course fee, which subsequently helps them save up to 96% of the total cost. Furthermore, they are also entitled to receive Crescendo’s Merit Scholarship of RM500 for each and every number of A’s they get in their A Level (or UEC or STPM) results.
