WORLD’S MOST MYSTICAL & POWERFUL – THE CHINTAMANI STONE Chintamani (Cintamani) stone is a wish-fulfilling jewel as per Hindu and Buddhist traditions, and is considered equivalent to the ‘Stone of Heaven’, ‘Philosophers stone’ and ‘Stone of Transformation’. It is revered as the wish-fulfilling jewel that grants all desires. The term ‘Chinta’ means ‘thought’. Chintamani is literally a ‘thought-stone’ or the stone which magnifies ones thoughts i.e., fulfills ones wishes. Chintamani Stone is considered to be of extra-terrestrial origin, and supposedly been brought to Earth by Emissaries from a planet orbiting the star Sirius; and then handed over to Shambhala’s ‘King of the World’ - a monarch known in the East. In Hinduism it is considered to be connected with Lord Vishnu and Lord Ganesh. In Hindu tradition it is often depicted as a fabulous jewel in the possession of the Naga king or as on the forehead of the Makara. The Yoga Vasistha, originally written in the 10th century AD, contains a story about this Chintamani. We have ‘Chintamani Ganesh’ temples in India; Lord Ganesh fulfills all our wishes like Chintamani. Some correlate it with Syamantak Mani mentioned in Vishnu Puran and Bhagvat. . In Buddhism, Chintamani is said to be one of the four relics that came in a chest that fell from the sky during the reign of King Lha Thothori Nyantsen of Tibet. The king did not understand the purpose of the objects but he kept them in a position of reverence. Several years later, two mysterious strangers appeared at the court of that king, explaining the four relics, which included the Buddhas bowl and a Mani stone with the ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’ mantra inscribed on it. As these few objects were the bringers of the Dharma to Tibet. In Tibetan tradition ‘Chintamani’ is sometimes depicted as a luminous pearl and is in the possession of several of different forms of Lord Buddha. Scientifically speaking this mineral is similar in appearance to a species of greenish meteorite named ‘moldavite’, which collided with earth many millions of years ago. The extra-terrestrial Chintamani stone is said to be stronger than ‘radium, and its dynamic rays can instantly increase a person’s own vibratory frequency while bestowing upon him or her the ability to see into the past and future, evolve into an immortal human being, or even secure world dominion. It has also been suggested that the stone can never be adequately tested scientifically because much of it exists in a higher dimensional frequency than the one we exist within. Healers who use minerals to aid in their work, believe that ‘moldavites’ can also cause rapid changes in the etheric bodies of individuals, opening their chakras and initializing significant inner spiritual journeys. According to many occult writings, the Stone is kept in an underground city of Shambala (‘place of peace’ in Sanskrit) in Tibet and its fragments are lent out for humanity in the time of great disasters or wars. The Tibetan expedition of 1925-28 by Nicholas Roerich is often associated with Chintamani Stone. Reportedly Roerich, living at that time in New York and being active in the League of Nations, was tasked to return a fragment of the Stone to Tibet. Roerich traveled to Tibet with the Stone (after a mysterious detour to Russia via Siberia); it is speculated that he indeed reached Shambhala, as he was thought missing between summer of 1927 and June of 1928, when the entourage mysteriously reappeared in India. Furthermore, legends about the stone, this relic with strange Sanskrit text supposedly engraved upon it, claim that its magnetic properties are vitally responsible for maintaining our planets natural rhythms. It is said to be used every night in a ritual held deep within the earths crust, to recalibrate the actual magnetic charge of the planet. In support of this theory, it has been suggested that this ritual has actually been visually documented as the subject of the Nicholas Roerich painting ‘Treasure of the Mountain’. It is interesting to note that anthropologists in Mali in the last century discovered that some of African tribes, such as the Dogon and Bozo, claimed to have once had visitations from Sirian missionaries who acted as their teachers. To prove their claims these tribes revealed some of the obscure information transmitted to them from their mentors, which included the knowledge of the Sirian grouping of three stars, as well as the knowledge of moons surrounding certain distant planets in our Solar System. Such information could only be acquired through observation with very high-powered telescopes, a luxury these primitive tribes were never in possession (en.wikipedia.org/; indiadivine.org/; bibliotecapleyades.net/; triuneoflight.org/) शुभ संध्या मित्रों Dr. AK Grover
