WORSHIP IS ALSO DUE TO JESUS WHO IS GOD Lets be reminded again that Jesus was the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob - (John 8:56-58; Exodus 3:14). He was the GOD of the OLD TESTAMENT. The prophets all testified of Him - (John 5:39, 46). Jesus Christ is a separate GOD from GOD the Father and GOD the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ was the GOD who became incarnated into humanity as our sin bearer, tempted in all points as we are, yet never sinned - (Matthew 1:21-23; John 1:1, 14; Philippians 2:5-8). He died at Calvary as if He was the sinner, in order to save us from sin - (Revelation 13:8; John 1;29; 2 Corinthians 5:21). WE can worship Jesus Christ because He is God - (Matthew 4:10). We can pray to Him also because He is also called the everlasting Father - (Isaiah 9:6). He can forgive our sins as He did to the paralytic and the thief on the cross - (Mark 2:1-11; Luke 23:41-43). His blood was shed to cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess and repent - (1 John 1:9; Proverbs 28:13; Acts 2:37-38; 2 Peter 3:9). Without the shedding of His blood, there is no forgiveness of sins - (Hebrews 9). There is nothing impossible for Jesus who is God - (Matthew 19:26; Luke 1;37). He is the resurrection and the life - (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; John 11:25; 14:6). He will raise us at His second coming as King of kings and LORD of lords. Jesus says in Revelation 21:6-7, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be his GOD, and he shall be my son. May the grace of God the Father, and God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit be with us all today. Amen! Amen! Amen!
