WORSHIP SONG for FRIDAY - If I had a BIG soapbox and a BIG microphone and was given an opportunity to speak to every Follower of JESUS, I would not be at a loss for words, in fact I might have trouble stopping once I got started. But I would have some things to say that I hope would be encouraging and yet challenging. Now I know that only a very, very small percentage of the Lords people will actually read this and in all honesty Ive borrowed the words of todays song and made them my words but nonetheless, to every Follower of JESUS who reads this, here are some words that I would say to you and in the process Id say them to my heart as well.... BE STRONG IN THE LORD AND DONT EVER GIVE UP HOPE! YOURE GONNA DO GREAT THINGS BECAUSE GODS GOT HIS HAND ON YOU! DONT LIVE LIFE IN FEAR! FORGIVE AND FORGET BUT DONT FORGET WHY YOURE HERE. TAKE YOUR TIME AND PRAY, FINDING PEACE IN THE FATHER.... Id say these Truths from one simple soul to another because we are all on this journey called life and we are all growing in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. None of us are any better than another and none of us deserves anything from HIS hand, but His grace is available and His Spirit is within us all. We will stumble and fall at times and we need to help one another and not shoot fellow soldierswho are wounded. The world will see Him in one huge way, the way that JESUS said would identify us as His disciples. Not by our knowledge, not by our worship, not by the way we dress or what we do or dont do. Jesus said, By this shall all men know that you are my disiciples, by your LOVE for each other! Enough of the silly bickering, the arguing over that which doesnt really matter and the thinking that its all about us. Its not.....its all about HIM and He prayed that we would be ONE as He and the Father are one. So, my fellow Believers, these are some of the words I would say.
