WORSHIP SONG for SATURDAY - Like every true Follower of JESUS, I have a past life or a pre-Christ life that is radically different from the life I have now. Before Christ, I was proud, self absorbed, anxious about everything, serious about very few things and having little to nothing in the way of direction, goals and beliefs. In the sight of man I probably looked average but in the sight of God I was lost in sin, lacking in righteousness and on the road to a separation from God forever. I was spoiled, marred beyond repair, ruined and hopeless. But He, in His mercy and grace, came to me and loved me, then saved me and began the process of making the ruins that were me into something glorious. He fashioned me into something worthy and replaced my heart with a brand new one. HE re-generated my spirit into that which could commune with Him and adopted me into His family. I once was His enemy but I am now His Child. I once was lost but now I am found and I once was a child of darkness but now I dwell in Light. He calls me His own, provides for me, defends me and even brags on me. I was once in ruins but He took those ruins and made them into something glorious.
