WORSHIP... WHAT DOES THAT LOOK LIKE? Dad, thats not a Sunday song... Were the words that came from my 7 year old boy this morning on our way to church. I had a Christian music radio station playing... And a song come on that didnt necessarily sound like a hymn that we sing at church. Two thoughts: 1. Im proud that my son has standards and glad hes learning something from his mom and I. 2. It would be a tremendous missed opportunity if I didnt teach 4 of my kids that were in the car with me that WORSHIP is different from RITUAL. SO I TURNED THE RADIO UP, TOLD THEM TO LISTEN, AND WE ALL STARTED SINGING LOUD AND PROUD. We felt the Spirit of God. We discussed the differences between achieving success according to societys standards vs success according to Gods standards. WE WORSHIPED...
