WORTH SHARING In a Village, there was an orphan child, whose parents expired because of accident. The villagers used to give him some food and gradually he was growing. Everybody was happy. One day one priest said “We have somebody in the village whose death is a certainty. Because of that person everybody else is having problem. I want each person to go one-by-one and touch the temple outside the village and come back. The person whose death is certain will get caught up by the god and will die. But others will be saved”. They had to force the first person to go and touch the temple and come back to the village. He reluctantly went and touched the temple. His heart leaped with joy when nothing happened and he was still alive. This continued for rest of the villagers who were all relieved when they touched the temple and nothing happened. They all were sitting happily in the village. Then it was the turn of the last villager, the ORPHAN BOY, to go & touch the temple. Everybody looked at him with accusing eyes. Everybody was cursing him and seeing him with the feeling of hatred. This boy was also very scared and reluctant. Everybody forced him to go and touch the temple. With a fear of death, he walked to the temple and touched it. There was a huge sound of thunder and the lightening came down and hit the hut, where everybody were sitting now with a sigh of relief, that they have identified the bad Oman. The lightening killed each and every villager sitting there. It was because of the presence of this orphan boy, that earlier, the entire village was safe and lightening could not strike the village. Sometimes we try to take credit for our achievements, but this could also be because of a person right next to us. Sometimes we unnecessarily criticize others, never realizing that our happiness in life because of the person, whom we are cursing. Friends,,,,,,, Look around you – there are many persons, in the form of parents, wife, children, siblings, Friends, etc., whose mere presence in your life is also helping you and keeping you safe and healthy.
