PLACING YOUR CHILD’S ABSOLUTE FAVORITE; A JAR FULL OF COLORFUL AND DELICIOUS JELLY BEANS IN THE ROOM WITH HIM AND WITHIN HIS REACH, YOU POINT IT OUT TO HIM AND TELL HIM NOT TO EAT ANY OR HE WILL DIE, AND LEAVE HIM ALONE WITH THE JAR OF JELLY BEANS? According to the Apostle who spoke for God, ‘Sin is evil and evil is repaid with death…’ James 1:15 Then DESIRE when it has CONCEIVED GIVES BIRTH TO SIN, and SIN when it is fully grown BRINGS FORTH DEATH. Romans 6:23 For THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH …. According to God, wicked = ungodly, ungodly = evil, the evil will die Ezekiel 33:11 Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in THE DEATH OF THE WICKED, but that THE WICKED TURN FROM HIS WAY AND LIVE; turn back, TURN BACK FROM YOUR EVIL WAYS, FOR WHY WILL YOU DIE, O house of Israel? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ God knows everything before it happens and it is all to establish his purpose and pleasure. God creates the beautiful and delicious tree of the knowledge of good and evil, places it in the garden with the humans, and points it out to them. Genesis 2:9 Out of the ground the Lord GOD CAUSED TO GROW every tree that is PLEASING TO THE SIGHT AND GOOD FOR FOOD; the tree of life also IN THE MIDST OF THE GARDEN AND THE TREE OF GOOD AND EVIL. God commands the human not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which he made pleasing to the eye, good for food, and placed it in the garden with them, and made them aware of its location. Genesis 2:16-17 The Lord GOD COMMANDED THE MAN, saying, FROM ANY TREE OF THE GARDEN YOU MAY EAT freely; BUT FROM THE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die. When the human received God’s command he had no knowledge of good or evil. This knowledge only came AFTER eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Evil = disobedience, rebellion, wickedness, ungodliness, sin; the reward of which is death.
