WOULD YOU EVER TRADE AP If you were Vikings owner? I know I said I was done posting about LaSean McCoy but this one is not about McCoys mouth. Forget what McCoy says, read the article below it just shows how much respect AP has earned. Personally I hope we make sure he retires a Viking. He would be one case where I would put aside the its just business position and just find a way to have the guy wear purple and gold until he is done. He will be a major football legend forever. He is one player I never want to see in another teams uniform. I believe he has earned that from us. I know I typically understand (even if I dont like it) when we move on from beloved veteran Vikings, but in the case of AP...I would never get behind a trade if AP was still a viable weapon for us. I want all his stats to be Vikings stats, I want all his NFL highlights to be wearing a Vikings uniform. If he went into serious decline due to age or injuries, to the point where he is not effective, I think he would retire on his own. What do YOU think folks...feel free to disagree with me...would you pay out APs contract and work with him beyond that if he can still play effective and make a difference? In the rare case of such a very special player, if he can play and help the team, would you ever let him go to another team if he wanted to stay here and you were the owner?
