WOUNDED WARRIORS FAMILY SUPPORT (WWFS) A one-of-a-kind 850 hp GT 500 Shelby has recently come off the assembly line for exclusive use by WWFS. The High Five Tour 2013, using this Mustang, will help raise awareness for our wounded warriors and their families. With the support of Mustang Clubs all over the country, the Shelby will visit all 48 states to raise money for “smart homes” for deserving military families. The Rio Grande Mustang Club has been asked to drive this Shelby from Deming, NM to Albuquerque on October 24th, 2013. The Shelby will be coming from Tucson, Arizona and heading to Lubbock, Texas and Mustang, OK after NM. Rich Ford will be providing support the evening of October 24th beginning at 6pm. The Alamogordo Mustang Club has expressed an interest in caravanning with us. It would be neat if we could get several RGMC Mustangs to be in the caravan. We will keep you posted as things progress on this event.
