WOW - after being told that no, she wont conceive, and running her with Bill for a considerable amount of time (on and off nearly two whole breeding season and an off season as well) - Mady Muirhead has her dream baby! :D Mady had sent her beautiful girl Penderlea Breanna back up to her breeder, Sharon Levy after an agonising decision to part with her and believing that she was never going to get her Penny baby..... Sharon let Mady know yesterday that they had a bit of a surprise in the paddock! A colt!!!!! Waiting on photos - and to say that Mady is bouncing out of her skin with excitement would be a complete understatement! Good one Penny - way to surprise everyone! Bill is a proud daddy again! Bill and Pennys love affair was rather pathetic - Penny would NEVER let anyone else eat from the same bucket as her - however Bill was the exception..... The pair of them were like lovesick puppies.... it created a lot of amusement for us! :D So so so thrilled for Mady that her dream baby became a reality! She worked so hard for this - and I am so pleased its worked out like this! She had a phantom pregnancy the year before - and Sharon was not sure if she was or wasnt in foal either! Sneaky girl! Just wanted to keep everyone guessing! :D
