WOW - what a night!! We are all shattered. Now for the scores!! MKR Corporate Dads, Josh and Aaron vs MKR Polynesian Cooks, Aaron and Heather. But first some long winded thank yous - Thanks to Nosh Constellation Drive, you guys are amazing, Te Awanga and Rod McDonald wines, fantastic vino! Kiwa Oysters - incredible produce, Scenic hotels and Air New Zealand for putting everyone up and flying them in, the incredible Aaron and Heather Freeman!! We love you guys very much!! Chefs Bayley and Stewart our incredible judges, the wonderful people we meet last night that donated to Child Cancer to be involved in event, Nicola King - JKs wife, for putting up with us in your house one last time - you are incredible also, the team from Child Cancer for being our waiting staff!! awesome! I think both teams put up some amazing dishes (menu below) - and I will find some pictures and put them up latter. Both teams scored 33 out of 40 from our guests - Josh and Aaron received some stunning remarks from our Judges - in particular our Taste of NZ entrée rated very highly - especially the Kiwa Oysters with Champagne foam! and we ended up with a final score of 78. Aaron and Heather delivered some incredible dishes - all three ranked super high, the judges mentioned their Main and the combinations of Pork Belly with Peanut butter and Banana were outrageously amazing, but the highlight of the night for them was the Famous Boca Loca #2 - refined and perfected - they received perfect 10s from both Judges!! Aaron and Heathers combined score was 84 - knocking it out of the park!! So, there it is - 78 vs 84 - Aaron and Heather triumph again!! One day we will defeat them!! #G2forlife #mkrnz #lovemyfrieds
