WOW!!! I do not usually push products, but you have to check out the revolutionary "The Tower Garden", as shown here you can see the vegetable crops are grown on a vertical tower, and flowering plants can also be used. The Tower requires NO DIRT, 90% less water and takes up 90% less space. So for you patio Gardeners, bye bye plastic buckets. What I like about this concept, is that it is on castor wheels and can be moved about, that using a patented "aeroponic" technique, the 20 Gallon reservoir filled with a mineral solution; allows plants to grow 4 times quicker, the solution provides oxygen and nutrients to the root system of the plants-you can have multiple harvests with this technique.
